A fun day with the citizens of Waldo Ar....Fire chief Kenneth Young enjoyed the visitors and invited guests. Sponsors Non Profit Corporation was on hand to share this event with surrounding communities...The day was hot, fun, educational and tasty...(Crawfish, Corn on the Cob, Potatoes, Cabbage, and Bar-B-Que Chicken was the menu).. All food was free to the public. The fire department is staffed with volunteer firefighters which enjoys the opportunity to serve the city they represent. The Arkansas Department of Human Services offered the citizens an opportunity to see their database of children in need of adoption or foster homes. P.I.E. Realty passed out information on home ownership...No Money Down, No Closing Costs, No Fees, No Perfect Credit and Lowest interest rates for first time Home Purchases, Refinancing or Purchase and Rehab Opportunity workshops. The Fire Chief quizzed the crowd with questions on fire safety to bring awareness while citizens enjoyed the food and refreshments. JJSTREETS & MAJIK...worked the crowd at Fairview High School in Camden where Michael Baisden brought his One Million Mentors Campaign to our service area. He has a 4 hour radio show on Magic 104.5 (KMGC) from 2:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Fridays... on April 23, 2010 he appeared to his audience and donated $5,000.00 to Camden's Boys & Girls Club. We respect Mr. Baisden for giving his monies to a cause that should stimulate us as a whole to support our own communities, nevertheless, his efforts are blessed. No one else had the nerve to speak-out about our situation with the youth and young adults...cut and dry he requested all parents and adults to support mentorship programming.. START AT HOME! Ms. Ronnesha Williams, a spectator in the audience reppin Smackover AR... we invited her to our broadcast and allowed our audience on Street Perspective Live (radio U can control) the opportunity to know what's going on in SmackOver AR.....at First Baptist Youth Department.
